
One of my kids loves the meatball subs from Subway, so I thought why not try making them myself! This meal is so simple, yet so filling and delicious. You can also add on things such a parm cheese I sprinkled osm eon the top, I also added red onion to mine, and be ready…..MAYO. I know a lot of people are thinking gross, but seriously try it SO GOOD!! Both my kids loved these, and you can also use the left over meatballs for spaghetti the next day. Nice when you can have some of dinner ready ahead of time! Try this out it’s easy, and a nice change!
EASY MEATBALL SUBS

INGREDIENTS
- 2 cans (8 oz each) Hunt’s® Tomato Sauce with Basil, Garlic and Oregano
- 3 tablespoons Hunt’s® Tomato Paste
- 24 appetizer size frozen cooked Italian style meatballs
- 6 hot dog rolls
- 6 thin slices (3/4 oz each) provolone cheese
DIRECTIONS
Position oven rack 4 to 6 inches from broiler; preheat broiler. Stir together tomato sauce and tomato paste in large skillet. Add meatballs; cover. Heat over medium-high heat 10 minutes or until meatballs are hot, stirring occasionally.
Meanwhile, place rolls on baking sheet; broil 1 minute or until toasted lightly.
Place 4 meatballs with sauce on each roll. Top each with cheese. Broil just until cheese melts. Serve immediately.
