
Apple Crisp is kind of a fall staple! Lots of people have apple trees and what better thing to use your apples on then dessert. This apple pecan crisp recipe is delish. I did leave the pecans out since we have a nut allergy in our home, but it still tasted good! SUPER, SUPER simple, and quick to make. It has very minimal ingredients, and I am sure you have most of them already in the pantry. try it out, a great way to celebrate fall!
APPLE PECAN CRISP…BETTER FOR YOU

INGREDIENTS
- 3/4 cup whole wheat flour divided
- 1/2 cup Essential Everyday Old Fashioned Oats
- 1/2 cup Essential Everyday Chopped Pecans
- 1/3 cup firmly packed Essential Everyday Light Brown Sugar
- 3 tablespoons Essential Everyday Better For You Buttery Spread softened
- 1 teaspoon Essential Everyday Ground Cinnamon divided
- 6 cups chopped Granny Smith apples (6-8 apples)
- 1/2 cup Essential Everyday Raisins
- 2 tablespoons Essential Everyday Granulated Sugar
DIRECTIONS
In small bowl, combine ½ cup flour, oats, pecans, brown sugar, buttery spread, and ½ teaspoon cinnamon; mix with a fork until well combined.
In large bowl, combine apples, remaining ¼ cup flour, raisins, granulated sugar and remaining ½ teaspoon cinnamon; toss to combine.
Transfer to a 9×9-inch baking dish that has been sprayed with cooking spray. Top with oat mixture. Bake in a preheated 350°F oven 35 minutes or until golden brown and bubbly.
