DULUTH, MN (KDAL) – Members of the Duluth Fire Department collected over 6,200 dollars in donations and purchased toys for the Salvation Army’s Toyland Express.
On Thursday, several firefighters gathered at the Target store to shop for the toys.
The Fire Department has been raising money for toys from their active and retired members each year since 2001.
Fire Marshall Sandy McComb says it’s a way for them to give back to the community and make the holiday season a little more special.
