DULUTH, MN (KDAL) – Starbase-Minnesota, an education organization that delivers a Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) curriculum to area 5th graders, is celebrating a facilities expansion in partnership with the 148th Fighter Wing.
The 7,000 square foot expansion allows Starbase to partner with more school districts in northeastern Minnesota.
Students spend 25 hours over five days at the site with their class focusing on real world problem solving using cutting edge technologies.
Since 2017, more than 7,000 students have attended Starbase in Duluth.
The Tuesday celebration will feature special guests and three former Starbase alumni speaking about the impact the program had on them as students.
