CHISHOLM, MN (KDAL) – Fundraising continues for the David Tomassoni Bridge of Peace Memorial project with construction expected to begin this summer.
The memorial arch and recreational plaza to honor the late Minnesota State Senator will be built on the causeway across Longyear Lake in Chisholm.
To date nearly 294 thousand dollars has been raised of the 450 thousand needed for the memorial.
Donations are being accepted from corporations and individuals at the Chisholm Community Foundation with the designation “Senator David J. Tomassoni Bridge of Peace Memorial.”
