CALUMET, MN (KDAL) – An early Saturday morning accident on Highway 169 near Calumet in Itasca County left a 20 year old man dead.
Authorities have identified the victim as Levi Charles Greenwood of Hibbing.
The northbound vehicle he was driving, entered the oncoming lane of traffic and collided head-on with a southbound semi-truck.
Both vehicles ended up in the ditch and the semi driver had non life threatening injuries.
The crash occurred around 4:30 a-m on Saturday.
