DULUTH, MN (KDAL) – The Duluth Police Department is participating in the Minnesota Torch Run for Special Olympics on Wednesday.
Over 70 different agencies around the state are involved in the run that raises funds for the Special Olympics of Minnesota and its athletes.
In Duluth, the run starts with the passing of the torch in the Priley Circle area of City Hall at 11 a-m.
Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, the torch run’s final leg will not conclude at the Special Olympic games that were held earlier this summer on a much smaller scale.
