DULUTH, MN (KDAL) – The Duluth Fire Department responded to reports of a fire at 1917 Jefferson Street early Thursday morning.
Crews found flames coming from a ground floor window and a Duluth Police officer using an extinguisher on the fire.
Police also evacuated tenants from the apartment building.
The fire was contained to just one room and two people have been temporarily displaced.
Damages were estimated at 7 thousand dollars and no injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire, reported at 3:45 a-m, is under investigation.
