DULUTH, MN (KDAL) – A habitat restoration project by the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources and the Minnesota Land Trust will close the Grassy Point Recreation Area and trail system while the improvements are underway.
The restoration project is part of the Lower St. Louis River Area of Concern Remedial Action Plan.
Objectives of the plan includes controlling exotic invasive plants while enhancing native vegetation and improvements to the existing trails on Grassy Point.
The project is not expected to be complete until July of 2023.
