DULUTH, MN (KDAL) – Duluth Transit Authority (DTA) bus drivers will be able to extend green lights or shorten red lights on a section of Grand Avenue.
The Transit Signal Priority (TSP) software is designed to help keep buses on time and is accomplished with on-board bus technology.
Several signal lights on Grand between Carlton Street and 59th Avenue West will feature the new TSP.
The DTA is also removing five current bus stops and better positioning another five to improve efficiency along Grand Avenue. The changes are expected to take effect on Monday, October 12th.
