AURORA, MN (KDAL) – A collision between an on-off road motorcycle and a side-by-side ATV on Sunday afternoon sent the driver of the motorcycle to the hospital.
The St. Louis County Sheriff’s Department says the crash occurred east of Aurora on a multi-use ATV trail.
In a narrow part of the trail coming into a curve, the westbound motorcycle encountered the eastbound side-by-side occupied by two people.
Despite taking evasive action, the motorcycle lost control and hit the side-by-side.
The 45 year old driver of the motorcycle, from Hoyt Lakes, was taken by ambulance to the Northern Pines Hospital with non life threatening injuries.
