Second Annual Dialogue in Action Series

The First Lutheran Church of Duluth Foundation invites the community to its second annual Dialogue in Action Series, which is free to attend.
Scheduled for May 6, 2025, at the First Lutheran Church Sanctuary, located at 1100 E. Superior Street in Duluth, Minnesota, this event aims to foster dialogue and enhance understanding of critical social justice issues, building on the success of last year's inaugural series.
This year's event features Dr. Jemar Tisby (https://jemartisby.com), a distinguished public historian, advocate for racial justice, and founder of The Witness, Inc. Dr. Tisby is a history professor at Simmons College of Kentucky. His insightful presentations, drawn from his acclaimed works, including 'The Color of Compromise' and 'How to Fight Racism,' inspire deep reflection and proactive steps toward societal change. Dr. Tisby's latest book, The Spirit of Justice, provides a compelling narrative that explores genuine stories of faith, race, and resistance, forming the foundation for this year's discussion.
