THOMSON TOWNSHIP, MN (KDAL) – One person died and another is in critical condition following a one vehicle crash in Thomson Township Sunday evening.
The Carlton County Sheriff’s Office says the vehicle left the roadway near the intersection of the Thomson and Kangas Roads.
Both of the male occupants of the vehicle were from the Barnum area. One was pronounced dead at the scene and the second was airlifted to a hospital in Duluth.
The crash is being investigated by the Sheriff’s Department with assistance from Cloquet Police and the Minnesota State Patrol.
The name of the victim has not yet been released by authorities.
